Ok, so anyone not familiair with the 60’s or certs won’t get that one but I digress. I actually thought it was the 80’s but when I did a reference check the commercials were in black and white, so it might have even been the 50’s. Yikes I am old!

So I have been a busy bee this month and have a few new fancy digs to show you all. Firstly I finished the branding and wordpress website for a Floral Designer in Red Deer, Alberta – Shared Seasons Floral Designs. We went with a soft palette of pinks and oranges that really speak volumes about this cool chick. A real kindred spirit, we were totally in sync on this design even though I tried to implement polka dots – a no no! :) We took inspiration from watercolor paints to form the logo in a swishy circle which also mimics an abstract flower. The site is a beautiful mix of bright orange, salmons and pinks that I adore as we carried the main buttons through with another painted swish that ties it all together.

I then completed (just today!) another new wordpress site for TK-FIT whom I worked with a year ago developing her brand identity. Tricia is a kick ass fitness trainer from the Berkshires who I know would run me into the ground :) Her amazing journey in the fitness industry was both inspiring and motivating for me to get my butt up and moving in the morning! We went bold and strong in her design with lots of white space for a clean minimal design aesthetic.

TK-FIT Lastly I know I showcased some of these before, but I added them to my portfolio today and thought it would be a nice closer to the professional work with a blast of funny. These logos were done for myself and for friends over the past year for various events we’ve organized (yeah cause you can’t have a party without a logo right?), as well as for my new baseball team ‘Hit Happens’. First of all, I know it’s crazy that I, Kelly no joiner, began a sport – hell must hath frozen over. But secondly I have to admit I am enjoying the game as well as the team libations we get to celebrate with post game :) Happy Tuesday everyone!
